Waiting-List Update Emails
Waitlist emails use two Event Type values on Email Templates:

| Waitlist Joined | The member joins the waiting list |
| Waitlist Promoted | The member is promoted from the waitlist |
Those names are on All events. See Which Events Can Trigger an Email.
Automatic promotion into a class is documented as not fully confirmed on Move into the Class. Waitlist Promoted is still the event name to attach a template to.
Workflow — Configure Waiting-List Emails
Email Templates → + Create Template → Waitlist Joined or Waitlist Promoted → Subject → Body → Active → Create Template
Step 1 — Create or edit the template
Open Studio → Notification → Email Notification.
Step 2 — Choose the event
Set Event Type to Waitlist Joined or Waitlist Promoted. You need a separate template for each event you want to send.
Step 3 — Write and activate
Add subject and body. Insert placeholders from DYNAMIC VARIABLES (booking tokens if they appear for that event). Set Active — used for automatic sends. Preview, then save.
There is no Waitlist template on the current list of three. Create one if members should receive these emails.
