Analytics vs the Sales Ledger
Finance → Transactions is the list of individual payments. Finance → Sales Analytics is totals and charts.
| Screen | Main purpose |
|---|---|
| Sales Ledger (Transactions) | Inspect one sale |
| Sales Overview | Total Revenue, package count, wallet recharges, daily average |
| Revenue Trend | Daily revenue shape |
| Top Selling Packages | Package ranking for a month |
| Top Buyers of the Month | Member spending ranking |
They can look different because they answer different questions — one row versus a sum:
- Different date ranges on different cards
- Packages Sold is a count; revenue is QR
- Total Revenue includes package sales and wallet recharges; Wallet Recharges is still shown on its own card
- Payment Method QR 6,500 vs Overview Total Revenue QR 12,026 on the same page (different widgets / periods)
Do not assume a missing sale is an error until you compare the same dates and the same kind of number (count vs QR). Refunds and failed payments are not explained on these screenshots.
Dashboard Today’s Revenue is one day on Dashboard. Analytics is a range or a month.
