Turning Notifications On & Off
On Email Templates, the switch and the message are on the same record.

The form caption is: Active — used for automatic sends.
There is no separate “notification settings” list of on/off switches in these screenshots. To stop one kind of mail, turn that template Inactive (or delete it). To change the wording, edit the template.
Workflow — Decide Which Notifications Members Receive
Email Templates → Review each Event Type → Set Active on or off → Save if you are on Edit Template
Step 1 — Open Email Templates
Studio → Notification → Email Notification.
Step 2 — Review events
See Which Events Can Trigger an Email. Create a template for any event you want to send.
Step 3 — Toggle Active
Turn Active on for mail you want sent. Turn it off to pause without deleting.
Filter with All status if you need to find inactive templates. See Activating or Deactivating a Template.
Turning Active off does not delete the template.
